The PEI Boating Festival
A celebration of our love of boating, our reputation for throwing a good party & for spending time with good friends.
The Around the Island Race is held every two years, on even-numbered years, as a fantastic alternative when the world-famous Marblehead Race is not taking place. The next race is scheduled for July 2026.
On odd-numbered years, we host the Race the Straight series. This year features two exciting races: from the Charlottetown Yacht Club to the Confederation Bridge on August 1, and an overnight race from Shediac to Charlottetown August 2-3.
Power Boats
Join in on the fun with your power boat! You can follow the action of the sailboat races, or cruise at your own pace. There are no rules or schedule for the powerboaters!
