ARound the island race

The Around Prince Edward Island race will take place every second year with the next event planned in 2024.

 

This race is a 350 Nautical Mile journey which provides challenges throughout to participants of all skill levels.

 

This race is not for the faint of heart and it certainly is not a straight line run.  As a circumnavigation, all points of sail will be challenged. The strong tides at the eastern and western tips of island can be “interesting” and the north shore stretch is tough.

 

Despite the challenges, this race is very accessible as participants are almost always in sight of land.
